HI! I’M DEB

I’m the founder of Solstice Studio — and the person you’ll see teaching, guiding, adjusting form, making tea, and quietly cheering you on.

I created Solstice to be the kind of space I believe more people need: somewhere you can work hard, rest deeply, and feel genuinely supported. A studio where strength and stillness sit side by side, and where every body, regardless or age, size, or condition, feels welcome.

My background blends Pilates, corrective exercise, and specialist cancer-informed movement. I’m a Level 4 CanRehab Cancer Exercise Specialist, an ISSA Corrective Exercise Specialist, and an APPI Pilates teacher. That training allows me to coach safely and confidently, with a strong focus on alignment, proper form, and movement that supports long-term health.

But beyond the qualifications, what matters most to me is how people feel when they walk through the door:

Strong. Capable. Calm. Seen.

Whether you’re lifting a barbell, bouncing on a trampoline, stretching under candlelight, or rebuilding confidence during and after cancer, my aim is always the same: to help you feel more at home in your body.

Solstice is a small studio with a big heart — and I’m so glad you’re here.
